I wonder if it is possible to put one's share into a SIPP? I assume the "interest" would then be tax free.
It would be nice wouldn't it?  To be eligible shares have to be listed on a recognised stock exchange so it doesn't look very likely!

just been checking my energy statements and noticed that i have received a ripple credit on the 18/01/26. anyone else had this occur?

I thought payments were on hold for the time being pending a way forward(ie being paid directly into our bank account)

have had a response from Kirk Hill and they have clarified that EON did not pay the ripple payments gross and have now settled the final amount.

I quote "We discovered last week that E.ON was refusing to pay the gross proceeds over to the spv as the others have done and I am in the process of drafting up an email.

They said they were going to pay members directly but didn't give us a date, so thank you for alerting us, I'll update the email accordingly for everyone, and of course you don't need to respond to it.

Future payments will be direct (via ethex) and not via any of the suppliers.  And yes, we'll have to do a true-up to make sure everyone gets the correct amount going forward."
