It seems that when my account matures there will be £3,500 in it (plus the interest) - is that normal? I've only had 13 payments in previous accounts, this will be 14.

Yes this is par for the course. Possibly with some previous issues you might not have opened the account until a week or two after it was launched by VM (normally towards the back end of a given calendar month), and therefore maybe missed the first available calendar month's instalment?1

Thanks - I opened it on the 20th with a debit card payment and then my SO was for 01st - you'd think I'd know after all this time!0

There were one or two issues that were launched really close to the end of the first month, so it was a bit of a job to get the first installment in.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2
