Being Hassled by Travel Agent.

    Not playing ball , or did you become patient and jump the gun ? Very different things.  The agent may well feel very hassled as well. 
    Out of politeness surely better to speak to them than post on here..........

     No the 45 days isn't up.

    I booked flights they got changed from Birmingham to Heathrow departure. plus 6 hours difference. I said I didn't except these changes. I spoke directly to the airline and they said I was entitle to a full refund, but I had to do it via the travel agent.  They kept saying no refund only a voucher can be given.  So I claimed on my card. they didn't answer many emails I sent. They I get the  above message.

    Unfortunately you chose to deal with a very poor third party. There are 1,000s of complaints about them on the TripAdvisor Air Travel forum that may be worth a read.

    I don't understand the problem here. You got your money back. Can't you just write/contact them and tell them that? Or were you wanting money back from the travel agent as well? I don't think it works like that. It's over. You just need to let them know that.

  • I would expect their to be issues with the chargeback. Travelgenio and other shoddy 3rd parties charge admin fees for refunds. I suspect the chargeback will be reduced to deduct this..
