I'm about to be made redundant and expecting my one month notice period to start in the middle of August.
I already have 6 days holiday booked which falls within my expected notice period - do I have to take the holiday or can I cancel and include in my accrued holiday entitlement which will be paid by my employer in my final pay.

You can certainly ask to cancel it but they can require you take it, and I suspect that's what they will do unless they need you working for a handover or whatever. If you don't ask you don't get though.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0
