Key Cover - Aftermarket Fob
Hi
I had my set of keys including DS3 2012 fob stolen from the gym locker (fault of my own as didn’t bring a lock with me on that day) and got in touch with my key cover company. Of course they rejected the claim as I hadn’t taken the proper precautions to keeping my keys safe. This was over a year ago and I’m looking to finally get a replacement from an independent locksmith and so my question is this: if I were to lose or damage this one, will key cover insurance cover the replacement of an already replaced aftermarket fob? If so, would they ask for proof of purchase from locksmith?
