Face to face assessment?

who decides whether you need a face to face assessment after filling out your ESA50 form ? I know they’re all suspended at the moment but just anticipating The potential future 

never had one before but that doesn’t mean I’ll never have one does it ?

also can you be selective about the date and time of a face to face assessment? As I get bad anxiety in the afternoon so would need it to be on a morning

They are indeed suspended and there's no indication on when they are going to start back up. Telephone assessments have taken there place until they do start back up. The health assessment providers decide who has them.

If a telephone or face to face assessment is needed then if the date/time isnt' convenient for you then yes you can change this but only once.

Ok thanks ! If I’ve never had a face to face before then is it still possible for them to send me to one ?

Of course it's possible when they are back on again.

Ok fair enough.  I didn’t need one for my personal independence just before lockdown so hopefully I don’t have to due to severe anxiety
