Yes. Came across this thread and thought it was only fair to provide a more balanced view.

Established in 2002, now with 300+ staff, 25,000+ clients and £2.5 billion worth of property purchased, it's the largest company of this type in the country and still growing - I expect it will be around for some time to come!

I expect you to be unemployed in a years time. :j

Hi fc123,

Actually it's nothing whatsoever like the 'how to make a million ' book guy. I cannot speak for Win, but Inside Track have a simple business model that utilises the buying power of a large membership to negotiate substantial discounts on properties. Naturally they charge course fees, it's not a charity, but it is a successful symbiotic relationship for company and client.

Regards

If you believe this sh8t, then I will have a pint of whatever you're drinking:beer:
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

simple steps as far as I can see

1) attend seminar

2) get offered property at "discount" , if you don't sign up now someone else will get the "bargain"

3) use their "financial advisors" and "legal team" to arrange it all

4) find property is overpriced wildly, no comeback as the whole thing is NOT regulated

• I am obviously not going to 'win' here against such vitriol, but at least I have corrected inaccuracies and provided a more balanced view. Also for moderators to remove my posts seems a little biased and over zealous - It also leaves the thread nonsensical. I presume they thought it was some sort of advertising, however, I presumed the right to reply and was simply using the statistics to illustrate the success and longevity of the company.

i attended both the free evening presentation, and then paid the full £3k to attend the weekend seminar a few years back. this was for there stock market trading courses, which is how they began, now branching out into property.

what i realised is that they did not show you anything that is new, and nothing that is "specific". All the technical analysis is pretty much freely available on the internet if you look around.
I new this even then, and challenged them on these points, with no real result.

in 2007 there is even more content available on the internet. All WIN showed me is some standard technical analysis, trend lines, moving averages and how to identify potential stock by checking the PE ratio.

save your money, or... give half of it to me and i will show you all the same stuff and more for stock market trading.....lol

I would expect they would show you the same sort of recycled stuff for property. I too have been asked by them to look into there property seminars ( as i am still on the mailing list) but i am now a much less naive person about this kind of stuff.

PS, if the the real thing you are looking for, i.e a profitable and sustainable trading method, lies solely within yourself. I am now a profitable trader, but this only happned the day i realised i had toe LEARN how to trade, and stop expecting other people, or systems, or formulas, or indicators etc to tell me what to do.
The day i ditched all of that garbage i finally started making money.

No you're not.

Try the "singing pig" - the home of dreamers, chancers, crooks and
pseudo-businessmen.

You might have more takers there.

This is a "money-saving" website.

#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided

#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now

#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing

I went to an Inside Track seminar over 2 years ago. It was scary! I was sure that the men in black would get me if I got up and left. The room had people watching over the audiences like FBI. I was quite disturbed by the evangelical ( not sure on that spelling ) style of hyped up talk. The speaker spoke a lot but said nothing of use. I felt so uncomfortable, I felt as if I was in a room full of people that needed protecting from themselves. Ive since gone on to make quite a considerable property portfolio and can assure you its not new build buy to lets. Please anybody considering property as an investment save your £3K towards a deposit. Crikey! Ive watched this site for months and never posted but really feel the need to speak up now.

• Is it a total scam? No.

Is it worth your money? All depends.

Win Investing do teach good, solid stuff. Stuff you can get from a book, or online, sure. However, they've collated it all together, teach you it in a classroom setting, and for an additional cost even provide mentoring. Some people will learn far better in a classroom than they ever would from the internet or a book.

That said, if you are better at self study, they don't hold any earth shattering secrets, so go learn it on the cheap. You'll have a £1500 head start, as i'll still assume you'd end up dropping £500 or so into books, subscriptions and the like.

I think the key questions to ask are these:
Will I do better with formal, structured classroom-like training rather than self study?
After spending £2000 on a course, will I have enough left over to still have a nice starting fund?
Will I be able to put the time and effort into trading every day?

If the answers for you are yes, go for it. They do teach good stuff, so aren't a scam in that sense.
If any of the answers are no, either don't bother trading or don't bother learning through Win.
