Cancelling credit card after a balance transfer to another

Options
Hi all.
Recently put a couple of big purchases on my Barclaycard credit card - namely a big holiday next year, and my car insurance. I've then done a balance transfer to a new MBNA card.

Ordinarily I'd cancel the old Barclaycard, but in the event that travel isn't sorted by next year, my holiday doesn't go ahead and I have to open a Section 75 claim, should I keep the Barclaycard open? As I've paid for the holiday through them, and not MBNA (even though the balance is on that card now)?

Would appreciate any help. Have tried to Google but can't find anything!

Thanks.

There is no need for the account to be open for a S75 claim.

The only possible pains really is if you move house or such as they almost certainly wont update an address on a closed account meaning having to mess about with security and getting correspondence.
