#2 has access and a space highlighted SL203295 (see one of the first posts)getmore4less said:With 7 3 bed and 2 2 bed on the development how many have access to the courtyard?
looks like 1&2 have garage access from outside the courtyard.
I suspect it is going to be a never ending problem with parking spaces for residents and visitors.
eg No 3 on that plan is for sale, one of the 3 bed with access to its garage
do they have rights to park in front of their garage doors on the hatched area?
on google maps No. 4 has a car park in front of their garage.
Nice places for £200k loving the basement area
Not clear which bit you are trying to stop people parking on.
#3 has access to enter their property, excluding the right to park in yard (see above post). From my understanding of this phrase in their deed they do not have the right to park in front of their garage.
#4 has access to their property and a right to park outside their house according to his deed.
#5 has access to their property and a space highlighted SL220250 (see one of the first posts)
#6 (my house) has access to the courtyard as i am the owner of it.
I dont think google maps is a good reference due to images not being current with the number of vehicles needing to park from my household in the yard. But for your reference i am trying to stop someone from parking a car in the space between SL220250 and SL203295's highlighted in purple which i am pretty sure i own, and no one else has the right to park their. All houses have right of access to walk over the space but not to park. Due to me having three vehicles i require these spaces.

You are correct, they don't have a right to park in the yard outside their property. I thought you were questioning whether other home owners could park in the parking spaces shown on the plan. You can't easily stop people parking where they aren't allowed, but you can politely remind them that they are not meant to and perhaps put up some signs (on your property) as a general reminder if it is causing access/turning issues.0

I think the best option is to follow all the advice given on the thread. Give everyone a gentle reminder of who can park and who cannot, and if this isn't taken on board then i will have to install collapsible parking bollards.
Thank you for your help. 1 1

            Got it now
NO 5 can use the space in front of their garage and the parking space as marked green but their deeds also have that bit in red.
 No.2 also gets a space.
Looking at the overhead it looks like there would be room for everyone to manoeuvre to turn around if all space were full along with 3&4 parked outside their bits.
Probably worth checking the planning doc (not available on line) to see what parking arrangements were approved when the conversion was done.
