EasyJet Cancelled Flight

EasyJet cancelled our flight to Barcelona from Bristol at the beginning of July and I assumed it was the return flight. Due to this cancellation I cancelled the hotel and travel shuttle service to the hotel. EasyJet has now emailed me saying that the return flight (this coming Saturday) is still going ahead which I obviously can’t use as everything else is cancelled. I have tried calling them many many times but can’t get to speak to anyone and have been on hold for 30-40 mins each time ( at my expense) . I have also emailed them and had an automated reply saying that they had 28 days to respond which is after my return flight. What shall I do now? Many thanks.

keep trying to call them. I assume you requested a refund of the cancelled outbound via the web, there is no place on the form to state whether you wanted to keep or also cancel the non-cancelled leg so they seem to only process the cancelled flight (some people will choose to keep the un-cancelled leg) If you had called rather than use the form you would have been able to request refunds of both flights at same time0
