Hello,
Not sure if I am posting question into a right section but hopefully will get help.
I need to make payment abroad to a company (not person). What would be the cheapest way to do it please? Pay by bank transfer, Western Union or anything else?
Many thanks.

Approximate amount?
What currency? Sterling or their local one?
As methods will be different depending on your answers.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Please tell me that this is not an ''investment'' in Bitcoin??
I know of somebody who lost thousands of pounds doing this - the money was doing well until she wanted to withdraw some of the funds - the phones went quiet and the money was never seen again.1 -
I paid by credit card and they charged me 2.75% on the amount paid (non-sterling transaction fee). Is it better to pay by debit card? Or charges are similar between debit & credit cards?0

Most debit cards will charge you 2.75% or even 2.99%.
Some credit cards like Halifax clarity would not have charged you any forex fees.
So have you already made the payment or is this one to Belarus a new one>?1 -
It isn't meaningful to generalise between credit and debit cards like that, as within each type of card the charges vary widely by bank.Miranda25 said:I paid by credit card and they charged me 2.75% on the amount paid (non-sterling transaction fee). https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/travel-credit-cards/#checker allows you to see the charges for the bank(s) you're interested in, and the rest of that article has best-buy info.
