On insurance quotes and credit applications who am I?

Choices given are “home owner”, “living with parents”, “renting unfurnished” or “renting furnished”.

I currently live with my partner (not married but been living together for over two years) in his home which he owns (with mortgage). I contribute equally to the living costs but have no ties to the mortgage or property ownership.

I feel I could fit into “renting furnished” as live in a property which was mostly furnished and pay bills. I also feel also I could fall into the “living with parents” category as if I loose my job and can’t pay my bills my partner (I would hope) won’t kick me out...

Any ideas Mr. Lewis?

Renting Furnished.

Since you’re not actually living with your parents.........

I assume your partner is not one of your parents, so you are not "living with parents".  Bigger worries than insurance quotes and credit applications if that is not the case.
