Not allowed to accept tips?
A rule that stupid deserves to be broken...0 -
What an impressively intelligent argument. It is not the rule that is that stupid.

one day someone will take too much from a vulnerable customer, a complaint will be raised and everyone who is proved to take tips will be sacked. Depends if you want to risk it1

I can't believe you are serious. Attempt to hair-split methods of corrupting the police is a pointless waste of time, with only one possible conclusion and also irrelevant to the OP's question. If you are genuinely curious, then you could research for yourself - and consider opening a new topic to discuss it. It might - probably will - appeal to those who spend their entire lives doing everything to avoid compliance with reasonable standards of behaviour, disrupting society for their own ends - anything other than intelligently trying to make society work constructively for the mutual benefit.

I assume from the moment I get to work that eyes are upon me and even if no one is around I do not do anything that could be thrown back at me later if someone was looking for dirt. It doesn't matter what anyone else does, look after yourself.1
