    Not allowed to accept tips?

A rule that stupid deserves to be broken...

What an impressively intelligent argument. It is not the rule that is that stupid.

one day someone will take too much from a vulnerable customer, a complaint will be raised and everyone who is proved to take tips will be sacked.   Depends if you want to risk it

I can't believe you are serious. Attempt to hair-split methods of corrupting the police is a pointless waste of time, with only one possible conclusion and also irrelevant to the OP's question.
If you are genuinely curious, then you could research for yourself - and consider opening a new topic to discuss it.  It might - probably will - appeal to those who spend their entire lives doing everything to avoid compliance with reasonable standards of behaviour, disrupting society for their own ends - anything other than intelligently trying to make society work constructively for the mutual benefit.

That ludicrous attempt to misrepresent straightforward English is  infantile.
Or perhaps you need remedial lessons.
Either way, you are now on Ignore.

  • I assume from the moment I get to work that eyes are upon me and even if no one is around I do not do anything that could be thrown back at me later if someone was looking for dirt. It doesn't matter what anyone else does, look after yourself.
