I applied independently to reclaim back monies from my bank regarding my premier account.
My bank has contacted me to inform me that they have received my complaint and I will receive an outcome in the next few weeks.
Has anyone been through this procedure and have received a letter at this stage. Would appreciate what your outcome result was.
Thanks

No one elses outcome has any bearing on yours.

You've not said which bank you are claiming from but for reference when I claimed unfair overdraft charges from Lloyds I only received acknowledgement of the claim via text then a letter with the outcome. I imagine they are swamped that the moment so I wouldn't worry too much1

It doesn’t matter what bank you’ve complained to or what bank account you’ve complained about, your complaint is unique based on your own set of complaint points, presuming you’ve not just relied on a template letter or googled complaint points before submitting a potentially fraudulent complaint.
you’ll find out within 8 weeks whether or not you’ll receive an offer of redress.helpful tips

It is a regulatory requirement to acknowledge your complaint and explain the process. At the point this letter was issued they would not have even considered the content yet.
Would appreciate what your outcome result was.Statistically, most are getting rejected due to timebarring. Beyond that, it is impossible to guess which side it will fall.
