The rules for MOT renewals for those who had a 6 month Coronavirus extension should be changed

The carnage is already taking place in the LGV/HGV sector. I need an MOT on the DAF LF in September (extended from May) now and my man thinks there is little to no chance it will happen and suspects they will have to move the goalposts again.0

They should have gone for the year 4 and year 6 first and second MOTs then extended the remainder by 6 months. Would have avoided this problem pretty much but obviously didn't want to reverse the original decision of not adopting this due to industry pressure over "safety" but was really all about loss of income.
