It’s probably my fault for overloading it, it’s just over 5 years old so the warrantee has expired...

I suspect the shock absorbers have gone. Taking the back off I see they may be accessible from underneath by removing a thin plastic panel. The shockers are white in colour.
I’m looking for a UK supplier of these. Any suggestions? Does anyone know how to discover the part number for the shock absorbers? Searching on eBay (using the WM model number) shows a German seller but the shockers aren’t the same colour.
Thanks

Thanks for that but I can’t see the shock absorbers on espares , they’re not listed as a part using my model number.
Buyspares claim to have it but confusingly they have others using my exact model number.0 -
On Fiyo.co.uk it’s shown as
SAMSUNG SHOCK ABSORBER FOR WASHING MACHINE DC66-00531C
My machine seems to be in the list of machines it fits.0 -

Samsung Ecobubble WF80F5E2W4W 8kg Shock Absorbers Damper Suspension DC66-00531C:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333619457807I'd say at £9.99 it's worth the repair and not bothering with a recon.

I'm just wondering why a 5 year old machine needs new dampers, it was always something I associated with neglected old machines. Perhaps they don't make'em like they used to.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I rather feel this applies to all brands these days, even Miele and Bosch. They definitely don't make them like they used to in order to reduce costs at the expense of quality and longevity.EssexExile said:I'm just wondering why a 5 year old machine needs new dampers, it was always something I associated with neglected old machines.
