Today in store saw that all the seeds are half price in Wilkinsons.
These are their own & Johnson's . Sow before dates 2022/2023.
Flower seeds start @ 25 pence
Flower seeds online (very few) are certainly half price, so guess veg ones are too.

This must be a regional not national thing - having seen your post this morning, I shoehorned a visit to Wilko into my errands this afternoon, but nothing was reduced 😣1

Did you ask?
The reason I say that is that the 1/2 price notice was very discreetly placed on the bottom shelf- not above the display!!- there were valid reasons for this- but not easily spotted.
Have you looked online?- the flower seeds there are certainly 1/2 price (the few they have @25 pence,) so I assume the veggie ones also reduced. However- not sure if the 'collect in store' is up and running- it was suspended

25p is good, if you can find what you want. It's like Lidl's price for their limited standard range, only available for a month or two in-store.I must say though I'm puzzled why anyone still buys seeds anywhere other than the internet, where prices and choice are both far better, especially for bog-standard varieties.

To me, Apero are nothing special. At least all 5 came up!

I didn't ask anyone instore katie (there was a queue snaking halfway around the store and I didn't fancy hanging about). To be honest there were so few seed packets on the display that there was nothing to really tempt me anyway - I did well with reduced-price seeds from Wilko this time last year and their 25p sale (I might even have scored several packs at 10p each, I recall) is quite a cheap way to add a few more of the bog standard veg to my seed store. I bought a few packets of heavily reduced Hunter butternut squash last year and they're currently romping away, laden with fruit and taking over half the garden!
My usual go-to place for seeds online is Premier, and I have recently discovered Real Seeds (although preventing cross pollination so that I can collect my own seed might just involve more time than I have available - we'll see!)1 -
Hi, was in there anyway, so had a look. Very little choice but a sign saying all displayed at half price. Got two packets and was charged full price at the counter. Had to wait 5 minutes whilst they queried whether the reduction was on their own as well as Johnsons, which was confirmed.
So even if you find something you want, make sure they apply the reduction at the till as they've plainly not adjusted the pricing on their system. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing2 -
My Brexapocalipse prepper wife reckons seeds are going to be highly expensive if not unobtainable after B-Day so might be a good idea even if the seeds aren't that interesting 😉'...it is only kindness that makes sense anymore ' Naomi Shihab Nye0

Once Bill Gates can get a microchip inside a seed, we'll all be doomed: "Sorry sir, we can't let you enter this year's village show. These courgettes are not registering as Covid-free authenticated via our scanner."1
