I have previously posted under the thread "Is this a Significant change".  I am due to go to Dubai on the 28th August.  My flights were rescheduled and I messaged TR through customer support regarding the flights saying that I am not happy with the 're scheduled option.
I have now received an email from TR with a Customer Support message under the Transfer section of my booking.
The message basically states that as a package holiday customer a new cancellation option is available to me and explains how to cancel, it says that flexible bookings will be refunded within 3 to 5 days, then further says that my package is fully refundable and to ignore any messages I get during the cancelling regards to cancellation fees as these are to be waived.

Is it really as simple as this?
My final payment for the holiday is to go out of my credit card on the 13th August.

Could some one advise please as how I should proceed.  I don't want to be in a situation that TR say that I cancelled and didn't make the final payment.
Thank you.

Well as a Package Holiday you do have certain rights, and if the flights are significantly changed, or cancelled, then you do have a right to a refund of the entire package.

Take screenshots of the messages from TR about you being able to get a full refund just in case you do encounter any issues further down the line.

We also got this message today . It is a surprise to hear we are supposed to get a refund for the hotel in 3-5 days. We'll see. We took photos of everything. Good luck

    Have you cancelled?
I'm really reluctant yet as i have still the final balance to pay.
When are you due to travel?

  • I got this exact same message, though my holiday was supposed to be from 24th July for a week. I’ve never been told the holiday was cancelled (saw for myself that the flights were cancelled by Ryanair). I was really stressed about my final payment going out- as they didn’t reply to any messages about the holiday- but they didn’t take it.
