Life/mortgage assurance.. claim?

Hi all,
Just wondered if people think I might have a claim... I bought my first house over 20 years ago and took a policy advised by the advisor at the time. It has since been sold on several times to different companies (currently with Phoenix Life). In their recent letter, I notice that they have said that the policy includes Child Cover Benefit (as well as the usual death and critical illness cover). However, I have never had children and certainly had no intentions to 20 years ago. I would never have requested it.
All of my paperwork from the original and previous insurance companies are in storage so I can't access any past documentation right now. Maybe the cover was always there and I missed it.. Maybe I'm not paying any extra for that element. But I just wanted to sound out you guys to see if I might have been paying for needless cover all this time.
Thanks!

That is what you expect. Most people do as it is common sense to do so.
