Can you not do a new application, this time online? It's not complicated. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I remember my instructor saying I had to have it on me every time I had a lesson but I'm not sure how legal that is as you're certainly not required to have it on you while driving once passed.
Also did you apply for a replacement card and not actually filled out the form for your first provisional licence all over again?0 -

I have just completed the online application for it so hopefully it comes quick and luckily this time I can track it, hopefully they don't cash my cheque as well or I will be overdrawn. I know it's been hectic because of Corona but I don't see why it would take so long to sort out applications people send in. Thanks for the advice!0

My son applied for his on Sunday evening, it came today. I was quite surprised as I am still waiting for a V5C for my car which I bought in June!1

Thanks for the advice! You can contact your bank and stop the cheque. As for "I don't see why it would take so long" - first, they're operating with many fewer staff, and second they'll have a big backlog of postal applications which were sent in spite of all the advice to the contrary.
