Moving debt before exchange/completion

Options
I have around £1900 left of debt on a 0% balance transfer card that and I pay off £25 a month and have been doing for a while. The 0% rate comes to and end at the end of September and for the last couple of times I have just moved the amount backwards and forwards between this card and another card (I have 3 cards in total, one has £1900 on, one has £0 and one is an emergency spend card that's not been used for 3 years - apart from the odd £20 here and there to keep it open).

We have our mortgage offer and thought we were ready to exchange as we were last in the chain but EA told us 2 weeks ago that top of the chain hadn't even started the legal work so our estimated exchange date for next week has gone and I very much doubt it'll be done by the end of September as nobody seems in a hurry up there. We have been advised not to take out any large or long term financial commitments before we complete as the bank do one last check before the solicitor draws down the money but would they have a problem with me moving the debt from one card to another existing card or is not worth the risk? I can just leave it where it is and pay the interest but seems silly when I have a card to put it on that's 0%. Has anyone done a similar thing that can advise? I know I can go back to the broker but thought I would try here first to get some experiences!

I can't see that your mortgage lender would be interested, entitled to be told about it by you, or have any way of finding out. Would be different if you were e.g. applying for a new card.
