Lastminute/Easy jet refund

Requested refund from Easyjet 1st June (purchased flight via Lastminute)

Received email 15th July from Easyjet saying i would receive refund within 10 days

Rang Easjet today (3rd Aug). they said they sent the money to Lastminute.com who i booked the flight with

"Please be advised that a refund request was processed on the 07/July/2020 and was refunded back to the travel agent that was used.

According to the system it was refunded back to Last minute group and should have reached them in 10 days of which the latest would have 14 days."

So Lastminute have been sitting on my money for over 3 weeks...

Lastminute are completely hopeless. Unfortunately if you booked through lastminute you have to deal with them. I've been waiting for over 4 months for any meaningful communication from them. 

My intention is to book flights direct from the airline in future.
