Hello all, I'm a bit late today but I have an excuse..... honest !!

Yesterday was a really good day and DD, with the DGD in tow, arrived to paint the shed. Mr Fix IT was helping, well sort of and I was sitting on the patio in the sun chatting to DGD and cutting out.  DD has kindly left more for me to do at my leisure Lunch went down well as did the peanut butter cookies and we were only left with 4 out of about 30 . DGD was waiting for the A*da delivery man to turn up as I had promised her ice cream. S0d's law he turned up bang on 4pm, our slot was 2-4 pm so she eventually got her ice cream then was ready to go home  DD was a star with the painting and the best bit of the day was that I got a long cwtch with DGD and then DD and I snook 2. Yay !! I can't see the difference in being able to cwtch my DGD and not DD as they live together. Gosh it felt good anyway, now they can put me in handcuffs and cart me off if they want !!

This morning we have delivered Dad's shopping and he wanted to know if that was all of it. Er...yes that was all you ordered, I believe he's itching to get to Aldis again because "everything is much cheaper". I told him that although the shielding finishes on the 14th there was nothing stopping him going now. Our infection rate has been 0 for about 2 weeks and we have had no deaths in the county for at least 3, so it's at it's lowest at present. However today all the bars and restaurants are opening their indoor seating areas, so we shall see what it's like in about 2 weeks time.

We called in for petrol too, the first time since Feb and used a pay at the pump, then took the car on a round robin trip home to charge up the battery. This afternoon I need to put the DW on and the bins out. Tea tonight will be bacon and egg etc.
