Is Hoseasons passing on the VAT reduction?

So I am aware that there is no obligation for companies to do this, and there are complex rules around tax points; however I was just checking my confirmation for a Hoseasons booking made back in 2018 for this October and under the price it states

‘VAT and IPT, if applicable, are calculated at the rate applicable when your booking was made. If either or both of these rates change, your holiday will be invoiced at the new rates, unless you have already paid your balance of hire in full prior to the date of change. This is NOT a VAT invoice’

No doubt if VAT increased this would be going up, therefore is it worth asking the question about the price going down? Has anyone already asked?

"unless you have already paid your balance of hire in full prior to the date of change"........well if you've paid in full the answer is no
  • I haven’t paid the balance in full, only the £25 deposit. Forgot that bit!

Tax point was when you paid the deposit.
  • They sold the holiday at a certain price, I don't think they will be reducing it but jmo.
