I won my tribunal (sorry I can't spell it)

Options
Hi guys, I was made to move over to pip from DLA (not through choice of my own) in November 2017, I was told I didn't qualify for pip based on the assessment so I sent a MR and was still denied it, it went to a court tribunal who still said no, a few months later I recieved a letter saying they had gotten it wrong and I could be heard by a court again... which I was and they have said I have won!  I recieved my letter in the post this week; but I'm just not sure what will happen next? Does anyone know? Will I be entitled to any back pay? Etc. How long do I need to wait?

I also got a text from dwp but it didn't make much sense to me to be honest. I will be continuing to get help from a welfare rights person as soon as I can.

Great news. It can take 8 weeks sometimes longer to receive backdated money after a Tribunal win.
  • You should receive the back money you are entitled to going back to when you were first denied PIP.  If you haven't heard anything after 4 weeks I would suggest you call them to ensure they have received a copy of the Tribunal's decision.  Sometimes they deny receiving this (they did with mine) so checking will ensure you don't suffer unnecessary delays.  Well done!!
