Villa Plus Issues

I cannot get hold of Villa plus, phone lines are permanently closed, have sent an email as have found my Villa advertised with my dates on booking.com and Airbnb by the owner. Due to fly this month, have paid in full and now don’t know what to do. Can they now ignore me until I’m due to fly and the day before give me an alternative accommodation? It doesn’t seem right. We carefully picked that Villa a year ago, just like I would with any other large purchase. Can anyone advise what we can do?

    According to their web page - Our teams are currently handling booking arrangements for customers travelling on the 8th-9th August, as a priority. We are sorry that this is taking some time, but we have a lot of holidays departing on this date.

    Due to operational disruption caused by COVID-19, travel documents are being sent to customers around 3 days before departure and we are sorry that it’s not possible sooner.

    Subject to further destination changes made by the FCO, we reserve the right to amend our published information at short notice.

    So it looks like you are just going wait until they contact you.

  • Hi.... there are some really sinister things going on there right now. The fact that they hide behind a blanket of not being able to contact them in any way, is outrageous. We are due to travel to Lanzarote on 9th, have fully paid everything when due, intend to travel as our flights are still going.... and yet we just hear nothing - despite their website saying they have distributed all travel documents up to 10th. I'm hearing all sorts of things about people's villas being advertised elsewhere when they have booked them with VP and not cancelled, and then Villaplus not paying refunds just vouchers. If anyone knows a way of getting a humane response from these people please do shout out!
