I know we get threads about buyers complaining about things missing from packages but one of my buyers appears to have got extras with one of mine. 

I sent a small widget less than £6 in a large letter mail lite bag, My feedback thanks me for the extra high ended branded wallet enclosed with their order.  I have no explanation for the feedback, I don’t sell or use high end brands, my package was sealed properly when posted and looking at the feedback they usually leave my feedback  is unique, they usually just say ‘item arrived I am happy thank you’ . 

Just one of those strange little things that make you wonder.....

Did you look at the buyer's "feedback left for others"? I've had some really odd feedback, sometimes for items I don't sell, but  then discovered that  the buyer had left the same feedback for all his purchases.

Buyers can be interesting...

Maybe they submitted the feedback without editing what they wrote for the previous purchase?

Perhaps it's just me, but I read that as the buyer's feedback for others was checked and discounted.

Buyer has selected the wrong transaction when leaving feedback maybe?  I get this occasionally where the feedback doesn’t seem to match the product I sold.  I also get the occasional message asking why they haven’t received a product I’ve never stocked - in pointing out I don’t sell that particular product they’ve then apologised for contacting the wrong seller.  

I wonder if there is something in the formatting/layout of the eBay screen on certain devices that lead to buyers selecting the wrong transaction?

Yes as per my OP feedback left for others is usually exactly the same , mine is the only one. It also refers to the wallet as being extra .

I’ll probably never know!

Yep, missed that. It was early and my head was elsewhere. As was your buyer's by the sounds of it!

Yep, missed that. It was early and my head was elsewhere. As was your buyer's by the sounds of it!

Yes, it does make a change though for a buyer to be congratulating a seller instead of moaning 😀

possibly opened in transit and the wallet was found by it and incorrectly combined.
