Well done with the quitting smoking! Stick with it! It's the best decision you could make for you and your family.

Just popping in to say good luck with it all @Debtoverit, you've made a great start! Decluttering with little ones is a challenge!
Re reusable wipes - I use them too, to use outside the bathroom a wet a few each morning, squeeze out so they're not dripping then put in a plastic Tupperware or similar with a tight lid - they stay damp and you can use them like wipes for hands or faces, then just pop them in the wash. I found some in the pound shop when mine were babies, but have also just cut down cheap towels as well.Mortgage December 2023: TBC

You could consider posting a statement of affairs (SOA) to see if the helpful people on here can see any other areas that savings might be made.

Just wanted to say good luck with everything! My partner gave up smoking after 11 years and it was hard at first, but sooo worth it in terms of his health and finances.1

So it’s been a while since I’ve been here. Things went a bit off the rails but I’m back and I’m still determined to be debt free!I did manage to stop smoking, just 4 months after originally planned. Nearly 18 months later and I am still smoke free, as is my partner. This for me is a huge achievement as I never thought I would get here. In a strange way I think I need to thank covid for it, although it seems strange to say something positive about that time period! I think not being able to go out and socialise, therefore not being around other smokers, helped to make it possible. We definitely haven’t managed to pay down the debt as much as planned, but I am not in more so I am taking that as a win and there is still quite a change!I am back and plan on achieving my goals!Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you.
