re. location of Premier Inns in Bristol

I can see that there are 2 in Central Bristol (Haymarket and King St). Is one better than the other for access from Temple Meads station and for pedestrian exploring in the City Centre? I am considering a mini break for 2/3 nights.
Or do you recommend a different 2 or 3 star hotel? I looked at Travelodge but the reviews are very mixed.
Thanks

King street is a much better location, it is close to bars and restaurants but wasn't very noisy when I stayed. It's also a much better proximity to the waterfront and museums.
Haymarket is closer to the shops, however the bear pit (underpass to take you from the hotel to shops) can be very undesirable at times, not always but very hit and miss as to what you'll find walking through.
There are frequent buses from temple meads but neither is a long walk, just different directions across the city, in fact King street would be the more interesting walk.
I can't think of any other hotels, I think there is an IBIS but I'd go PI for comfort.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Thanks very much. Really helpful. Yes there is an IBIS which I looked at but someone else told me that there is currently construction work nearby. Being closer to museums and the waterfront sounds better. Deciding whether to stay 2 nights or 3. Happy to walk from Temple Meads if the route is reasonably clear. I have been once before but 20 years ago and mainly for a conference.annabanana82 said:King street is a much better location, it is close to bars and restaurants but wasn't very noisy when I stayed.
