Hi, I had a policy with Axa which lapsed in May 2020.
I booked a holiday in January for travel in September, is the cover from the booking date or only when you travel? The holiday may be at risk now so I wanted to check if there is a chance I can claim.
I'd normally just ring them but I've been on the phone for an hour and don't want to waste any further time if I'm not covered.

Your post is not clear, who is the "with you" part ?
Was it an annual travel insurance policy that you had ?
If so, any cover would have ended when the policy finished in May.1 -
Why didn't you renew the travel policy?1

The cover is from the booking date but only until end of the policy, which has now passed.1
