Quarentine longer than trip

I am due to fly from London to Canada next weekend for a 10 day holiday. But Canada have a 14 day quarentine so it's pointless me going. The airline, Air Canada, with whom I booked directly are offering a voucher if you need to cancel. My flight is still available. Do I have the right to ask for my money back instead of a voucher? Conscious of that fact it's not an EU carrier and the flight is still technically available so I don't know if that means my rights are different.
Thanks

no rights to a refund from the airline if the flight is operating unless you have purchased a refundable fare

I think if you've not bought a refundable ticket the airline are being more than fair by offering a voucher.

Take the voucher, the airline have been very generous in offering it to you.
  • With any flight, if the flight is still operating and it’s a non refundable ticket you are not entitled to a refund.

FCO advice is not to travel and Canada won't let you in anyway-

Insurance claim is the way to go-Unless you get a voucher which will negate the insurance claim.
