Hi everyone
Warm here today but not as hot as yesterday and no annoying wind today so thats good. Little grand daughter stayed last night and slept her usual 12 hours, so no problems there. We've walked down to the beach this morning - little one toddled her way along the prom, smiling at everyone and stopping to 'woof' at each dog we saw. It's like walking a little puppy as she has a wrist strap on to stop her darting away. We sat on a bench and ate our biscuits and watched dogs and dolphins and people flying kites. There was a few hardy people in the cold North Sea....it must have been chilly at 9.30 in the morning!
When she wakes up we'll have a play in the garden and perhaps a toddle round the block. DD will pick her up about 6
Hope everyone has a good day10 -
OK SNOOZER! I didn't need much persuading! So, for the first time since late March, I haven't disinfected my shopping either! It was duly delivered minus the strawberries that I knew about but the small Greek plain yogurt was subbed with almost a bucket of Natural plain yogurt! I'll never use all that so have offered it to DD. Just done a Tesco order for delivery next Sunday morning. I seem to spend half my time these days compiling sm lists and booking delivery slots!
Btw SNOOZER thanks for the info re Skipton market too. I had heard about them diverting traffic and using the road for market shoppers but it was nice to get a first hand report of it. We are missing our bus and lunch trips out and can't wait to resume them again.
After yesterdays 34 deg today is much more bearable - a good 10 deg cooler. We had a shower at lunch time which appeared from nowhere but the sun is now shining on us. After a busy morning with one thing and another I have now been taken over by the mode of sloth so it will be a few hours reading with my feet up.
Take care folks xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11
