You have levelled it front to back & side to side with a spirit level ??
Taken ALL the transit bolts out as per the instruction book ??

What type of floor do you have. Wood, laminate concrete?0

Hi 47Revisited, It's laminate flooring laid on wooden floorboards. I guess that could be a problem. However, we previously had a Bosch machine in the same place and never had this problem.0

Laminate flooring is well known to cause issues with bounce usually due to the underlay being springy. Although you previously had a machine on that floor, manufacturers use there own way of load balancing the machines, so might not be balanced for your particular flooring. (Levelled as before)0
-
Just to add, When using laminate flooring , its always best to have the appliance on a solid floor to avoid the problem. You can also level it easier.0

Hi 47Revisited, Good point - I'd not really considered that. If I run a spin / drain cycle with the machine empty it hardly vibrates at all. Would you still expect a lot of vibration in this scenario?0

Manxman_in_exile said:We had a similar problem about five years ago with a washing m/c from JL. Are you absolutely sure it is faulty and that it is on the level? I thought ours was level but JL sent someone out and he said it wasn't level. A few minutes later he had it working perfectly.I can fully understand why JL want confirmation that it's faulty and not a levelling issue*. (AIUI, if you want to exercise your short term right to reject within 30 days, the supplier is entitled to ask you to show that the item is both actually faulty and that the fault was there when you bought it)*Others may disagree but I don't think a levelling problem that can be corrected is a "fault". It would have been daft for me to reject our machine when it was "fixed" in two minutes.1

With the machine empty, their would be no balancing to do, hence less vibration/ movement. What I would do is to get the back legs levelled on some solid board, which would mean cutting away the laminate at the back or cutting out squares to insert solid wood. That way you should get away with having laminate under the front of the machine.0
