TR6 Form Utilities & Services

Evening everyone,
Currently going through a sale/purchase.
Received the TR6 form today from the vendors re the house we’re buying.
It’s been empty for about 6 months due to the lady owning it going into a care home and now the family are selling it.
In the section regarding the utilities/services they have written “not known” across the whole page. So no information on who the current suppliers are....sorry if this is a silly question (and that’s why I’m asking here before going back to my solicitor!) but does it matter if we don’t know who supplies the gas/electric/water etc before we move in?
Can we just take our existing suppliers with us? Or will it cause an issue if we don’t know so therefore should go back to the vendors solicitor with the enquiry?
Thanks all.

No. You will be in a deemed contract with the current suppliers.kasqueak said:Can we just take our existing suppliers with us?

Thanks. Ok so seems easy enough to find this info without raising another query back to the solicitor. The sellers solicitors are so slow responding to queries hence why I’m seeing if this is something we need or not and and it seems not to matter.0
