Can I do a chargeback for 'Co-Working' day passes?

Okay so I had bought a set of 20 Bulk Day passes at a popular Co-Working office in Manchester £360 after VAT for 20 day passes.
I received an email to login to the members area but there was no way of booking desks. So I emailed and I received a response that I should just turn up and the receptionist will log me in.
I wasn't exactly happy with this as I also have a flexi-membership to another Co-Working Space and there is the ability to log in online and see how many desks are available, I took a tour of said place and they were implementing all of the new Covid-Safe rules with a bonafide online system and other measures such as 1-way etc.. Upon arrival.
I have emailed this other place asking for a refund as I don't see it workable to just 'turn up' and can't see how that could be possibly Covid-Safe - As there is no way to reserve a desk I would face the possibility of commuting to the City Centre only to find that they are at capacity.
This company has since ignored all of my emails asking for a refund; Do I have any grounds to initiate a chargeback on my Credit Card?

Did they promise bookable in advance when you purchased the passes?0

Something along those lines.0

It very much is the point. Regardless of the Covid situation, the success of any chargeback will depend on whether or not they are supplying what was agreed when you purchased.1

If they're still providing the service then you can't. The fact you may have to sort out attendance booking in a manner that isn't the way they were doing it pre-Covid doesn't entitle you to a refund, From what I can gather from your post you're still able to use the service at the time you wanted to use it.DaveWLewisham said:Thankou SuperAllyB but where do I stand legally with trying to get a refund -

A chargeback is not a legal right. It is over and above your consumer rights.DaveWLewisham said:

A chargeback is simply a card provider right (Visa/Mastercard/Amex) provide. It is to protect both customer & retailer.
While you may have a chargeback right (talk to your card provider) As this is not a straight forward case. As what you purchased is available, and they may want to see paperwork such as T/C before making a decision.
This sounds like a B2B purchase, so legal wise might be different to a consumer purchase.Life in the slow lane0 -
OP hasn't mentioned the name of the company.DaveWLewisham said:Okay so I had bought a set of 20 Bulk Day passes at a popular Co-Working office in Manchester £360 after VAT for 20 day passes.

It could be Colony. It offers a 20 day pass for £300 + VAT (£360).
T&Cs are sparse, with emphasis on how to use the kitchen area.
The daypass option is advertised in the following way:To me, 'drop in' suggests punters turn up on the day without making a prior booking.Drop in at any location whenever you need

Submit the request and see what the person handling it decides. They can only say no. Putting the technicalities of what you bought and what they offered aside, If they won't even respond to a refund request/complaint it will probably work in your favour for getting the chargeback.
