This happened to us when buying. The valuer put it at £50k less than what we had offered.We tried again with a different lender, and 2nd time they valued it at our offer price so it was all back on.I would suggest they get another valuation, since the first was not far off. There is the risk that a different bank will use the same valuer and get the same result, or that a 2nd opinion will come back even lower.0
