Does anyone know how the hell you contact Virgin Media. I'm trying to leave them! I've tried phoning - only to get a press this, press that message and then cut off. I've tried contacting them online - no luck. I've tried live chat and waited for an hour. There is a message saying that they have things may take a little longer due to the pandemic - I get that - I work for the NHS. I'm due to pay my next bill on 02.08.20 and that's fine but I want it to stop and I know there could be a problem if I cancel the DD. The only way I've been able to make any contact is to make a complaint but I don't know if that will be even read. Any ideas would be gratefully received. thanks

Hi JJ
Yes. I'm out of contract but can't get through either via phone or online. Online sends me round the houses but won't let me actually leave. It's like Hotel California!0 -

having same issue rented house tenants all gone 1st may due to selling bill paid 30th may so began cancelling mid june no specific phone number to call just went to "moving house" all the faq`s are relating to taking your package with you, changing your package or paying your bill.
ene up on ome chat box where by it seemed i was talking over chat, so aked to close account , reply was whats account no etc gave those details, waited so long i closed the web page, came back days later to find the chat process still there with my history. so continued to request cancelation now the june bill had come in and been taken so i cancelled the DD and reconnected with this chat box, goving over and over same things, then july bill has now come in and and £7.50 additional fee
so got on phone and well well after a while you now get through to a person. spent 48 mins on first call got cut off being transferred. then a further 20 mins second call getting know where now when i call i have to go through collections team and have to pay £101 other wise they wont cancel,
but i asked to cancel 1st week in june? now the chat box history is gone, im sure i took a screen shot but cant find it, its a nightmare, and still the property is not sold and been empty since 1st may
