New Law on redundancy pay

I read a SKY article earlier that as of today the government is telling companies who are making furloughed staff redundant they should pay them full pay!
Does anyone know if they mean full Statutory pay or contractual pay?
My redundancy notice period ends today and I’m being paid statutory pay which is a good bit lower than my weekly salary😩
Thanks.

The new law is intended to make employers base the statutory amount on normal working hours, rather than furloughed working hours, according to the government site.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0
