Boiler Cover Renewal & Buying New Boiler

Hi All,
Just want some quick advice, as my boiler cover(insurance) is due for renewal in a few weeks and as always is going up, but also coinciding with this is buying a new boiler and getting that installed.
What advice would you have for me, as if I have the new boiler all installed around the time of the new boiler, will I need boiler cover, if I have a warranty of a new boiler?
Should I just cancel the boiler cover? (as it is on auto-renewal)
Any advice would be most welcome cheers

My usual advice is that "boiler cover" isn't cost-effective anyway (in the long term you're probably just going to end up paying what you would have, plus the profit margin for the insurers), so I would cancel it and save your money somewhere else for when work is needed.0

You certainly don't need boiler cover for the period of warranty of the new boiler. The suggestion to put the money away so it's there if needed is a good one.
