Download your own copy, just in case. Dont let someone else have control over something so useful to you.2

Brilliant news all! I wrote to NFU explaining the circumstances of my stop and they have written back advising that they have agreed a few minutes grace should now be applied by I Park and as such my "fine" has been waived! 👍👍👍
I offered a £20 charity donation to cover their time assisting me. I'm happy to make a payment to my favourite cat charity in recognition of a great outcome.

Great!
But WHY have they stupidly agreed to an unworkable scam contract, setting it up as if it's a 'no stopping zone'?! Clearly this little corner of a car park is totally unsuited to be 'no stopping' and has no double red lines or any markings to make it so.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is completely unsuitable to attempt to be a no-stopping zone. No-stopping zones need to be clearly signed with double red lines and traffic-facing, large 'clearway' repeater signs and they are only suited to a road, not a corner of a car park! This is a scam and they've got it badly wrong.
By the way, please stick around and make comments on the Government consultation when the new draft Code of Practice is published (imminent). Come back and check next week if we have a thread about it and please read the new draft Code of practice carefully and object to anything in it that is not robust enough. It is designed to rein in this rogue industry, so make sure your voice is heard.

trying to win my complaint at IAS stage. still got 8 days to respond but now I can clearly see what I can use in my response.
brilliant posts and video guys. thanks1 -
No worries, there is no way these cases would get past a court Judge so no paying, even if you lose at IAS (you should never have started it but can't back out now). Actually, these ones SHOULD go to IAS but only with that video.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
I am just finalising my draft for my IAS appeal and have just read the latest comments.
Coupon-mad are you saying that it is still a bad idea to go the IAS route? I know that they mostly reject but I think there has been at least one success relating to this particular location and of course, there is that video if it should get to court....... (or should it be included in the IAS appeal??).
Thanks

Should go to IAS... was a clue. Expecially as you cannot now back out.
Yes you put the video in to the IAS. Find a way to do it. I dont knw why you would even cconsider leaving out key evidence. Boggles the mind.3
