Getting just a bit more discount on insurance....
I've recently been insuring several cars (Ford Puma, Nissan Micra, Evo 6) via Tesco's, who have in the last few years been cheapest. On my latest renewal (Micra), it seems that More Than were a few quid cheaper - and also can be reached via Rpoints (giving an extra discount of 1300 points - ie £13).
Also, More Than invite you to enter your lowest quote so far. I may be wrong, but this figure does seem to be taken into account when calculating the premium. Obviously, entering a stupidly unlikely figure isn't going to help, but I'm not so sure that there's a little flexibility in the system which may reduce your "lowest" quote, assuming it's reasonable, by a few more quid to win the business.

when i renewed my insurance 2 weeks ago (runs out at midnight tonight) i just told them that if they get it under £400 i'll pay for it now. Went from 420 to 3910
