I’ve just given myself really bad anxiety and need some reassurance. I was suppose to fly to Rome with Ryanair on Sun 20th Sep and fly back on Sat 26th but they have emailed to say they’ve had to change our flights to Mon 21st to Fri 25th taking 2 days off our holiday. We had 3 options to accept the change, move the flights or get a full refund. We paid £377.96 for our flights but I checked to see how much the flights would be for these dates and would only be £249. I went on impulse and submitted the application for a refund then went ahead and purchased the same flights for cheaper. Was this stupid? I never thought it though before doing it 😭 any help would be greatly appreciated.

not an issue although you will probably wait weeks/months for the refund1

I think it’ll be ok but as Caz has pointed out you could be waiting a while for the refund from the original flights.1
