Kindle App Storage on PC

I have recently changed my laptop. It is still Windows 10, a Lenovo V145-15AST.
On my previous laptop the Kindle content was sitting in My Kindle Content.
On here it does not seem to be. It is in the Kindle app, but I cannot find where it is stored. The App, when asked, states there is a secure storage problem and these are the instructions:
I should state that the books are there, they are showing in the app.
Any suggestions please? I want to be able to load the Kindle books on Calibre as I use it as a library to gather together all my books. I can currently use it on my old laptop, and no I do not have them just directed to my old laptop, I have also been sending them to Kindle 5 which is my new one.
Thank you for reading and for any suggestions

Please try the following steps to resolve this issue:
- Quit the Kindle application.
- Navigate to your home folder. (Example: C:\Users\dan)
- From your home folder navigate to 'AppData\Local\Amazon\Kindle'. (Example: C:\Users\dan\AppData\Local\Amazon\Kindle)
- Delete the folder named 'storage'.
- Restart the Kindle application.

The appdata folder is hidden so you won't see it in the default view but you can type it into the explorer bar of the window and you'll get there so you could copy the link from your post and just change the username from dan to whatever your one is.0

Open Windows Explorer
Click the View tab
Towards the top right click the checkbox next to Hidden items
The C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData folder should now be visible.0 -
