BA have cancelled return flight but outbound still going - unclear on Manage booking what to do

BA have emailed me today telling my return flight from Florida in December has been cancelled but the outgoing flight remains the same. I have tried emailing them and calling and am going around in circles. It is really unclear under 'manage my booking' if using the cancellation/change booking will cancel/change the whole booking or just the cancelled flight part? We booked prior to COVID 19 happening and feel very uncomfortable with the current situation in the US and would prefer to put off the trip to another time. Up until recently, the BA website was allowing passengers with flights booked after April 1st to change/cancel but not passengers who booked before we knew anything about COVID. Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Call them and ask them for refund. If one flight was cancelled, they will refund you no problem. When you call, don't choose any option, just stay on the line until someone picks up. If you choose refund option, it will disconnect you.
