Insurance refunds

I booked my insurance with the post office before the fso rules changed for travel to Spain the post office said my insurance is invalid but won't give me a refund as I am a day late over the 14 day cooling off period please help x

They don't need to refund you, unfortunately.0

Lots of people seem to be asking to cancel insurance now they’re holidays aren’t going ahead and I’m surprised that people are thinking that they’ll get a refund for it.They cover you from the day you purchase it so although you haven’t had it for long you have had some benefit from the policy being in place. Some insurers have been very generous but there is certainly no entitlement to a refund.2
