Splitting a bedroom into 2 bedrooms

    If I was looking to buy a five bedroom house I wouldn't necessarily want an ensuite bathroom but I'd definitely want a minimum of two full bathrooms.

    OP, a floor plan of the current arrangement, plus your planned alterations, would be helpful.

    The ideal ratio is an extra bathroom if you go over 3 beds, so with 5 I would expect 2 (plus a downstairs cloakroom).
