Accruing Holidays During Furlough

Hello,
I work for an agency and have been working for the same company on behalf of them for the same hours for 2 years.
Recently I have been struggling with mental health problems and so I had rang in to tell them how I was feeling and that I would be going to the Doctors.
I asked if I could put in holidays for the week I had off and was told yes.
I rang up to see if those Holidays had been put through on this weeks payroll (Always have to check you see because they're never organised with these things)
To be told that I had no holidays left...
I had 10 weeks on the furlough system surely thats 5 as I accrue them on a 2 week basis kind of thing.
I had been back to work 7 weeks so there is 3.5 days.
I was told no we used 4 for bank holidays for you during furlough so you are -.5 days.
How ridiculous!
I'm all ready in a muddle with Anxiety And depression and have been put on medication with the doctor.
And to top it all off when I emailed them my Fit note from the Doctor they have ended my assignment so they do not have to pay me SSP....
All I ask is should I have accrued holidays during the furlough period?

Your employer is entitled to tell you to use holiday during furlough, but they have to tell you and those days have to be paid at full pay rather than the 80% that the employer is entitled to pay you if on furlough.

I understand that them using the holidays for bank holidays during furlough as I was paid for them accordingly.
But they are telling me that I did not accrue any during my time on furlough.

- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere

How many days a year holiday do you receive?0

28 but accrue them over time.
So at the start of the new holiday entitlement I would have to work 2 weeks to accrue 1.

Most companies base accrued holiday on a monthly basis. Over ten weeks on a rounded basis (two months) you may have accrued only 3 days annual leave.
Bank holidays are given when they arise. As they are a statutory entitlement. I'd assume that during furlough you would have received 4 bank holidays.

Yes I did which they are saying they used the holidays that I had accrued since I have been back to work.
I accrue mine every 2 week I know I do as this as been the case for 2 years.
But they are stating that I do not accrue them during furlough.
