Advice needed on entitlement to reduncy pay

Hi all, this is a difficult one but I would really appreciate any help/advice you might have on this one. I work in the travel industry and I face being made redundant in my current role within the business. There is, however an opportunity to apply for another role within the business. I want to know where I stand with regards to reduncy pay as technically, I am being made redundant and I have to go through a new application process for the new role on another department. Am I still entitled to the reduncy pay in this case? I would ask my HR department this question but concerned they will try and get out of paying me reduncy if they can. I hope I have explained the situation clearly enough! Many thanks :)
