Easy Jet Flight Transfer is not all it seems

EasyJet have been advising customers who have booked flights but do not wish to travel that they can transfer the flight at no cost, providing it’s more than 14 days prior to travelling. What they fail to tell you is this: if the overall cost of the new flight is cheaper you don’t receive a refund, however, even worse than that if the outbound or return leg of the flight you are changing to is more expensive than the original they add on the difference even if the new flight is cheaper overall. The devil is in the detail as always, I find it scandalous that this can happen and they get away with it.

Standard terms and conditions apply to all changes. If the new fare is higher you will be required to pay the fare difference. No credit is given if the new fare is lower. All changes must be made at least 2 hours before departure.
Easyjet are a point to point airline they sell one-way flights (you can add 2 one-way flights together and make your own 'return')
fees are "per person, per flight" and each flight would be treated independently0
