BA now not accepting It's own credit card?!

I just went to book a BA flight and to my utter amazement, they are now not excepting the own American Express rewards card. I assume this is because they don't want chargebacks and is utterly reprehensible. Is anyone experiencing the same?

I see the option "American Express Personal" in the drop down of payment options. Is this not working for you?

The airline doesnt own the finance house. If they dont want to accept AMEX, that is no different to hundreds of companies out there and has absolutely nothing to do with chargebacks. But as above, are you picking the right option?

    That makes no sense.

He is assuming the airline own the credit card company which of course is utter rubbish.

Same here, American Express Personal is an option.

Nobody appears to be experiencing the same.
